The same disc as our ring version, with a pull-off string instead. The string is what makes removal feel closer to a tampon. If you would rather not have it, you can trim it off.
what's in the box
Two reusable menstrual discs, sizes S and L, each with a pull-off string, and a silicone carry pouch you can boil. The silicone is body-safe and seamless.
ring or string
Both discs hold the same and sit the same way. The string gives you something to pull on, which most people find easier for the first few cycles. The ring is less bulky and there is nothing to catch. Neither is better — it is a preference, and this is the pack to buy if you want the string.
which size to start with
Start with the small one. Size is about where your cervix sits rather than how heavy your flow is. The right disc tucks behind the pubic bone and stays there. If it shifts or leaks, move to the large.
up to 12 hours
A disc can stay in for up to 12 hours, overnight included. Removal is the awkward part at first: hook a finger through the string, keep the disc level, and bear down. The first cycle is messier than the ones after.
care
Rinse with cold water first, then wash with warm water and a gentle cleanser. Between cycles, boil for three to five minutes or use a sterilizer case. Store dry.
