A container that sterilises a menstrual cup or disc in the microwave and then stores it. One thing instead of a saucepan and a drawer.
how it works
Rinse the cup or disc, put it in, fill the case halfway with water, leave the lid slightly open, and microwave for about three minutes on medium — until the water is steaming. Let it cool before handling it, pour the water away, then dry and store. The vent in the lid is what keeps pressure from building.
when there is no microwave
Fill it with hot tap water and let the cup or disc soak for a few minutes. Less thorough than steaming, but it is what the case is for in a public toilet or on a train.
fit
It takes any menstrual cup or disc, whatever the brand or the size. Food-grade silicone, light enough to carry, and not see-through.
first use
Wash the case with a mild, unscented soap before the first use.
