which size to start with
Start with the small one. Size is about where your cervix sits rather than how heavy your flow is. The right disc tucks behind the pubic bone and stays there. If it shifts or leaks, move to the large.
up to 12 hours
A disc can stay in for up to 12 hours, overnight included, and it sits above the vaginal canal so it can stay in during sex. Removal is the awkward part at first: hook a finger through the string, keep the disc level, and bear down. Trim the string off if you would rather not have it.
care
Rinse with cold water first, then wash with warm water and a gentle cleanser. Between cycles, boil for three to five minutes or use a sterilizer case. Store dry.
